Description:

The Fossil Trace Golf Course derives it's name from the twenty-foot pillars of sandstone, pocked with ancient fossil imprints it is built around. The course is located just east of the Golden Municipal Recreation Park and the Golden Cemetary. To add another level of history to the course, it has been littered with a selection of antique mining and farming equipment from around the area.
